Quickie: Not Interested

Here’s a bunch of things that readers of this blog – and by extension, software folks and execs generally – are not interested in:

  1. Bob, having read you a bit I am sure there is some evidence behind what you are saying. How do you know there is no interest? I am not expressing a doubt, just curiosity.

    • I draw my inferences from my blog stats. Happy to share (if I can figure out how).

      • I feel there is an important lesson here. Would you mind sharing a short list of the things that draw the most attention? That may help me understand. It may result in something like: we are more interested in X than in Y.

      • Sadly, the list of things that draw the most attention is of length zero.

      • Now I am a bit lost. I don’t know how to understand that. You have been publishing a lot lately. I read your previous statements as none of your recent posts is getting enough attention, and you are attributing that to the topics you’ve chosen. Am I getting close?

      • I haver no information to determine whether the lack of interaction or feedback means lack of attention. Nor whether it’s the topics I’m chosing are the cause, or whether other factors pertain, such as blogs in general being passe now, sociol-economic factors, etc..
