In a previous life, I was charge with leading a whole passel of software and product developers. To help create an environment where they might wish to up their game, I proposed and launched a new community called “The Inklings”. I attach the proposal and launch announcement hereunder, for your delectation/misery.

That was courageous of you. (In the ‘Yes. Minister’ sense.)
Especially with your talk of ‘self-organisation’. That scares lots of people – those above you in the management chain, who feel that it threatens their position; and those below you, who may never have done too much self-organisation and self-inspection, and so feel threatened for a different set of reasons.
