Quickie: Evidence-based Practice
Evidence-based practice may be an ethical imperative c.f. Clifford, 1877, but where’s the evidence for its efficacy?
Clifford, W.K. (1877). The Ethics of Belief. Retrieved August 27, 2021, from https://www.people.brandeis.edu/~teuber/Clifford_ethics.pdf
The first page is already a great insight. Will read the rest later in the day. Ethics is missing in many places, in a way similar to the way emotional / cognitive congruence… is ‘missing’
One is convinced of one’s beliefs Until the pattern is shown, the belief persists. And even then sometimes revealing the pattern does not move the needle.
When do we teach ethics?
